Monica fell in love with the game of billiards when she was only 8 yrs old. Her father, Johnny, opened a local pool room in her home town of Douglasville, GA. With the help and coaching of top ranked touring pro and US OPEN Champion Helena Thornfeldt, Monica won the 1998 Amateur Nationals Championship and went on to become the #1 United States player on the Women's Pro Billiard Assoc. Tour(WPBA). Monica has one of the top 3 most consistent top finishing records in pool and that has earned her an impressive amount of T.V. coverage on ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPN CLASSIC.Monica says "Stay tuned, because the best is yet to come!"
